Depicts a man standing on the surface of a large sundial, in front of a pump inscribed 'FATO PRVDEN TIA MAIOR.'

Georg Lichtensteger sculpsit 4 Noch eine andere Garten-Plumpe, welche mit einem perpendicularen druck Hebel in der Mitte einer Azimuthal Sonnen Uhr versehen und statt eines Vertical stehenden Stiffts die Zeit auf der Horizontal fläche zeiget, nach dem allemahl die Plump-Stange in der Mitte bey einem gewiesen Einschnitt nach Vollendenten plumpen Winckelrecht gestellet wird. Cum Pr. Sac. Cæs. Maj. Hæred. Ier. Wolffij exc. Aug. V.
Translation
Yet another garden pump, which is fitted with a perpendicular pressure lever in the middle of an azimuthal sundial and shows the time on a horizontal surface instead of a vertically standing stick, in accordance to which the pump rod will certainly be in the centre, placed at a right angle in a certain indentation.
Object history
The V&A holds this suite as published by Johann Balthasar Probst. It was originally published by Jeremias Wolff, before 1724.
