Physical description
Pair of black patent and white leather lace-up shoes.
Gallery label
(1997)
These lace-up shoes refer to the black-and-white co-respondent shoes of the late 1920s and '30s, although they are unmistakably 1970s in form. Throughout the early 1970s 'retro' styles were popular; this type of shoe was often teamed with Oxford bags and a Fair Isle slipover.
