Dawn Dupree graduated in Fine Art Textiles from Goldsmiths College in 1989 and is one of a number of established designer-makers at the forefront of developments in British craft textiles. Dupree has defined her work as 'textile painting' and specifically chose 'Flood' for the V&A, where it has made a significant addition to the collection of surface decorated craft textiles.
