Object history | Registered File number 1986/63. Eveline Gordon said the design was taken from a book on English Embroidery (p.24). The gown had a white satin top with a pink skirt. The design on tissue (T.267-1986) is the design for the skirt and smaller motifs were used to border the bodice neckline. |
