Cream white ground with floating wefts 'brocaded' blue and red bands; the blue carries meander of acorn and leaf, and the red: two rampant lions flanking a helmet and visor, interspersed with an armorial device of two half-moon axe-head and a spear, and a triangular shield, the latter bearing the date 1937 scored out in pen-ink (?to commemorate accession of Edward VIII). 1 selvedge.
