On either side of the cup and in the centre of the saucer is an 'H', with a plume of feathers in purple, outlined in black and with gilt details, and set on a yellow ground over-enamelled with lozenge diaper. Inside the cup and and on the saucer is a draped frieze with pendant tassels.
