Woven cotton. Cream white ground with floating warp in blue vertical bands, separated by either a) linked 'chain in red' or b) yellow and red twill stripes. In alternate rows the blue device bands show an orb surmounted by ER (partially inked out), followed by the sceptre and staff; or the ER and orb followed by a crown motif. (?to commemorate accession of Edward VIII?). Label notes 'Device of Royal Insignia Disclaimed'. 1 selvedge.
