Child's hood of cotton with applique. With a geometric design in the 'khatwa' technique characteristic of Bihar. The pattern is achieved by cutting the design out from a piece of cloth the same size as the background and sewing this piece on. Black cotton with white applique decoration and red and yellow trimmings.
