Rosette-shaped base with eight incurving sides, which rise first at a low angle then bend sharply upwards. The cylindrical body is chamfered and tapers inwards as it rises to a broad, flat everted rim which is wider than the base.

Around the body there are eight lotus buds at the points of the rosette, spaced with interlaced squares. A double fillet above and below loop to interlace with the square pattern.

Around the body is an epigraphic frieze divided into four sections. the other four facets are decorated with large four-petalled rosettes, each petal in the shape of a palmette.
On the slanting base, cartouches with incurving sides are spaced with palmettes at each of the eight pointed sections.


Patina: brown and red with limited areas of malachite.
