Plain, cylindrical mug of large size with slightly tapering side and large loop handle. Painted on the face with the coat of arms of Watson of Soughton (Argent, an oak tree growing out of a mount in base vert surmounted of a fess azure; crest, two hands issuing out of clouds fesswise holding the trunk of an oak tree pale wise with branches sprouting proper); with the motto Insperata floruit, and on either side with flower sprays in a fillet with prominent purple and blue-green enamel. Round the rim is a spearhead border.
