Bowl of porcelain. Convex sides and a pronounced foot-ring; painted in black and green enamel colours and gold. On the outside are painted: first, a view with two columns, fallen blocks and trees in the foreground and buildings in the distance; and second, another view with two fishermen in a boat in the background. Plain gilt bands around the foot and lip; gilt frieze (much modified) inside the lip.

Bowl, porcelain, decorated with two fisherman in a boat, in black, green and gold, Chinese, mid 18th century; overdecorated in London, probably in the workshop of James Giles, about 1760.
