Sketch from an engraving, of a painting on the South wall of Easby Church, Yorkshire. It depicts The Annunciation, with an angel on the left, and a female saint on the right and a vase with flowers in between them.The angel is holding a scroll which is unravelling in the direction of the female saint who holds out her hands towards it.
It was originally made in the late 13th century.
