An angel stands in the centre, with green wings and outstretched arms. Around him is an inscribed scroll. The angel wears a white robe with yellow flowers. There is a dark blue border above and blue fringes below. There are columns on either side, painted in polychrome, with acanthus leaf capitals and with swags of fruit. In the background is a landscape with buildings including a castle, probably showing Arundel.

Panel of clear and coloured glass painted in black/brown pigment and silver stain with an image of an angel surrounded by scrolls containing text. Designed and made by Charles Kempe. English, about 1890.
Physical description
