In the middle of the plate in a large shaped panel enclosed by baroque scrollwork is a seaport scene with buildings and figures in European dress. The rim is edged inwards by cones and conventional foliage and has a gilt lacework border, now nearly worn away. Painted in imitation of Meissen porcelain.
