Object history | This costume design by Lez Brotherston is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 2002. The design was executed for a production of Tom Stoppard's play "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" performed at the Royal National Theatre (Lyttelton Theatre), December 14th 1995. The production was directed by Matthew Francis, lit by Howard Harrison, the music was composed by Mia Soteriou, and the cast included Adrian Scarborough as Rosencrantz, Simon Russell Beale as Guildenstern, and Alan Howard as The Player King. Lez Brotherston was assisted by Matt Kinley on this production. |
