This model shows a window in the wall of the Mosque of Muhafiz Khan. The mosque was built in the late 15th century. This model is one of a pair (Museum no. 01129A(IS)), both of which come from a group showing details of mosque architecture in Ahmadabad, western India. This group came to the V&A from the former India Museum in 1879.
