Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
Panel made from two joined borders of bobbin lace threaded with silver strip. The bobbin lace is in the form of a simple net made with 'vertical' lines, each of two twisted threads, which are caught together at intervals by a single loop of thread from each line, forming a delicate square mesh with tiny squares at each corner. Held in by the twists are vertical strips of silver. The panel is edged with a simple bobbin lace in silver thread.
