This is a black evening dress in a highly textured polyester. It was designed by Caroline Charles in 1989 using a fabric made by the Italian company Bogliani & Dossi. The fabric is cut in such a way that the deep striations run horizontally on the sleeveless, long-line bodice and vertically on the short, tiered skirt.An oversized black jersey halo hat is designed to be worn with this evening dress.
