Object history | Painted by Ada Hunter (who, with her sister Blanche, was one of the official V&A house artists at the turn of the 19th/20th centuries, painting many textile reconstructions of antique textile fragments in the Textiles Collections.) These were done as illustrations for "A Glimpse of Guatemala" by Anne Cary and Alfred Percival Maudsley, 1899.
