They are all elaborately dressed in fashionable day dresses, the women with long, lavishly decorated and draped trains and long, form-fitting cuirasse bodices extending over the hips. Many of them wear dolmans, mantles and wraps which echo the line of the dress underneath, and all wear hats or bonnets.
