Pencil, watercolour and bodycolour. Design for the lunette "Freehand Drawing" in room 101. On the left, an older bearded man sitting in a chair, a younger man standing at an easel with a palette, and a boy sitting on a stool with a drawing pad, while on the other side another boy stands, holding the young man's painting at a distance for the old man to point at and talk to the young man about. Also on the left is a plinth bearing fruit and a peacock. In the background is a mural or a window showing a landscape behind with a rainbow and trees. In the centre forefront is a vase of roses.
