Cast copper alloy image of the infant Krishna stealing the butter ball. This form of Krishna is one of the most popular for small three-dimensional images. The remains of the lotus bud may be in the raised right hand, or it could have held one separately cast. The tall, inverted conical headdress with petals on top is typical of these figures from South India, as are the well defined front hair curls.
