Object history | "Théâtre des États de son Altesse Royale le Duc de Savoye" was published by Jan Blaeu, and documented many different states belonging to the Duke of Savoy, Victor Amadeus II of Sardinia. The Duke of Savoy was ruler of Duchy de Savoy, a historic territory now shared between France and Italy. The capital of Duchy changed from Chambéry to Turin in 1562. |
