Object history
Le Pont de Sully is a bridge in Paris which crosses the River Seine. The bridge is named after Maximilien de Béthune, the duke of Sully and was opened in 1877. Designed by engineers Gustave Brosselin and Paul Vaudrey, it was built at a 45 degree angle to the river banks which provides striking views of nearby Notre Dame and Île Saint-Louis.
