Middle East, Metalwork. For a dagger (Khanjar), wood, covered in tooled black leather with polychrome lacquered floral ornament, red painted edges and a chiselled brass tip. There is a pierced silver suspension loop with an incised silver washer on one side. Iran; Persian; Arms and armour. Inter-departmental transfer to MES, RF 2011/1170.
