The Worcester porcelain factory embellished the traditional beer jug with transfer-printed floral decoration. This concealed the old-fashioned cabbage-leaf moulding below. The factory was hugely successful. It had the technology to mass-produce printed tablewares. These had an excellent heat-resistant porcelain body.
