Collectors called one class of pottery 'Pratt Ware'. They named it after the only pieces with factory marks, which happened to be marked 'PRATT'. This was a very cheap moulded earthenware. Like the now-redundant delftware, it was decorated with a limited range of high temperature colours. It was widely made by potteries in Staffordshire, Yorkshire and elsewhere.
