Given by the maker to the Royal Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, in 1864. A decanter with the same decoration was shown in the London International Exhibition in 1862, and was illustrated in the Art Journal Illustrated Catalogue. Good quality glass, thinly-made and with fine engraving was characteristic of the Pellatt company's wares.
