Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
Rucksacks were popular and youthful accesories into the 1990s. Comfortable and practical, they typified the early 1990s modern, minimalist approach in casual accessories and had an egalitarian feel about them. Men, women, students, tourists and ultra-fashionable clubbers could all find something to suit. This silver leather backpack by Kitty Percy--resembling angelic silver wings when worn--was acquired for the Street Style Exhibition at the V&A in 1996.
