Woman in a black silk evening dress with a wrapped effect, the skirt extended into a long pointed train which terminates in a knot clasped with a jewelled band. Where the edges of the wrap-over fold, glimpses of a blue lining can be seen. The dress is fastened at the hip with a decorative brooch accented with long blue beaded fringing. The off-the-shoulder neckline has long blue beaded fringes falling over the arms and clasped around the forearm. The bodice of the dress is embroidered with a deep V of blue beading. The model wears black silk shoes which are accented with blue beads, a blue beaded bandeau headdress with hanging bead strands over the ears, and carries a fan of blue-dyed ostrich feathers.
