A drawing of a woman in a draped satin or velvet evening coat trimmed with fur and bands of rich embroidery. The coat has batwing sleeves accented with embroidery and bands of embroidery around the shoulders, neck and hem, contained within borders of fur, which also edges the sleeve openings. The dress beneath is almost completely concealed save for a double train of transparent lace that emerges from the hem of the coat.
