148 colour designs from wood blocks, some with pencil, water and body colour, for shawls and fichus, also three samples (one wool, two rayon) of printed textiles. Mounted in a volume containing 216 pages, half-bound in canvas, with marbled boards, and the trade label of the manufacturer 'Robert'. Inscribed throughout in French with colour notes etc. Some dated '1849'. Four inscribed 'Vendu à Swaisland' and some with the names of private customers, numbered '13400' to '13599'.
