On a folded sheet which contains an extract from a speech by Lieut.-General W. Thornton in the House of Commons in memory of Isaac Browne. Lettered with epitaph on the monument and ‘This Representation of the Monument in the Church of Badger, in Shropshire, to the Memory of Isaac Hawkins Browne, Esquire, executed by Sir Francis Chantrey, is dedicated to his widow, by Lieutenant General Thornton, one of his nearest relatives, who on publishing his own Speech in the House of Commons with authorities and Illustrations, introduced a description of his character which is subjoined on the other side. G.E. Madeley, lith. Wellington St. Strand.’
