Circ.485-1970
René Lalique was an established and innovative jewellery designer, based at 60 Cours de la Reine, Paris from 1902. His rediscovery of 'demi-crystal', a ductile and stable material which allowed quality moulded glass to be mass-produced, encouraged a prolific output of designs in the 1920s. In 1928 Lalique's work became available in the Breves Gallery, Knightsbridge, London.' |
