The flower holder depicts the nursery rhyme character Little Bo Peep, the design possibly inspired by Walter Crane whose book 'The Baby's Bouquet' was used by Sowerby's as a source for several decorations. Sowerby's named their opaque glass 'Vitro-porcelain'. It was made in a nunmber of colours.
