Object history
This drawing has an old black mount. There is a pencil sketch from this watercolour, which is marked with notes of colours, see E. 80 (60) - 1970. Pugin visited Kenilworth on 15 September 1848 with his new wife Jane during their wedding tour, and the pencil sketch must have been made on site.
