The poster is dominated by an image of the actor Amitabh Bachchan standing on the left hand side looking directly out of the poster. He has been 'painted-over' which serves to enhance his angry facial expression; emphasis has been placed on the eyes and lips which have become Amitabh's trademark. The title runs across the middle of the poster, the typography is large and distinctive. Below the title is another portrait of man (Shashi Kapoor) in a police hat holding a gun, this image is in black and white and superimposed with yellow.
