One of 'Six drawings illustrating Théophile Gautier's Romance 'Mademoiselle de Maupin' by Aubrey Beardsley' (E.416 to 421-1972). Published by Leonard Smithers and Co., 5 Old Bond Street W., 1898. Portfolio of photogravures from an uncompleted set of illustrations, issues in an edition of 50, with a folio of letterpress comprising title-page printed in black and red, colophon and list of plates, in green-ish grey paper boards, half-bound in green-blue cloth with greenish black tapes. The colophon numbered in ink '13' and signed 'L. S. & Co.' With the bookplate of George Kitchin inside the front cover. Size of portfolio: 15 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches. Given by Michael Harari in memory of his Father, Ralph A Harari.
