Hand-knotted carpet with a natural linen warp, a mixed yarn (apparently jute and hair, etc) weft and woollen Turkish type knots. Cream ground with an abstract design of a loose trefoil outlined in blue-clack and echoed by a heavy area of blue-black mottled with pale grey. Three non-continuous stripes in mid-blue decorate the bottom and centre left areas.

Cream ground with an abstract design of a loose trefoil outlined in blue-clack and echoed by a heavy area of blue-black mottled with pale grey.
