Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
This roller-printed cotton furnishing fabric was manufactured by the Calico Printers' Association in 1921. The box trees and garden vistas are similar to the motifs found in pochoir print fashion plates of the period, such as those illustrating clothes by Paul Poiret. English firms bought many fabric designs from French ateliers at this time.
