This woven silk, linen and rayon fabric called 'Teheran' was designed by Bertrand Whittaker for Warner's in 1925. It was used in the interior of Claridge's hotel in London. The Middle Eastern style landscape in rich colours is in tune with the Art Deco taste for 'exoticism' and luxury.
