Standing figure of Vishnu. It is broken at the thighs and lower part is now missing. The arms are also broken and partly missing. The halo is broken except on the deity's left side where it is penetrated by a small hole. His hair falls over the shoulders in fat ringlets behind his elaborate beaded earrings.He wears a cylindrical crown ornamented with looped garlands above his round face which has fleshy lips and a flattened nose beneath protruding eyes under arched brows. He has a diamond-shaped pendant hanging from the centre of his necklace or possibly this imay be a srivatsa symbol on his chest. A double sacred thread hangs down the left side of his torso and is looped under the belt with its central buckle which sits just above his hips and keeps in place the diaphnaous lower garment which covers his lower body, together with a pleated sash round the top of his thighs.
