Furnishing fabric of cotton and wool. With a repeating sequence of black, grey and white undulating lines, giving a 'before-its-time' Op Art effect.

Object history
Two different designs by Djo-Bourgeois, of which this is one, were launched by Metz & Co. in 1932, with the name Sunfirm Tapestries. This design was also available in a colourway of white, grey and black with orange and features in the Metz&Co catalogue of that year.
