Place of origin |
The head has been restored, probably twice, but mostly at the top and the back of the head; the older repair seems to be above the right temple and eye and the more recent at the top and the back. The latter has removed the ushnisha. The right ear and neck are also restorations, as well as the tip of the nose. The rest of the face, including the hair above the left eye and temple, and the left ear ( which shows traces of pigment) are all original.
