Swatch of 22 textile samples joined together in a purple folder with a cellophane cover and the words 'Liberty Furnishings' and 'Chiswick' printed in gold. The samples are printed on a range of plain cottons, linens and velvets. Each sample has a paper label with the name of the design and pattern specification. Various ones are based on William Morris' carpet and embroidery designs with the exceptions of 'Darnley' and 'Gabriel' which are based on 19th century church embroideries. Other patterns shown are 'Allerston', 'Marillier', 'Feldmore', and 'Langthorne', each in a range of colours.
