Place of origin

Relief panel depicting part of a frieze of five male figures, probably worshippers, some holding offerings. They are all wearing dhoti and dupatta. The men are characterised as members of a high caste by the bracelets, necklaces, ear-rings and turbans. They are slender and well shaped - their measured movements befit their elevated social condition. Their narrow faces are characterised by elongated, almond-shaped eyes and moustaches under long narrow noses.
