| Object history | This costume design by Maise Meiklejohn is part of an extensive collection of designs by the artist purchased by the Theatre Museum in 1990. The design was executed for a production of Arthur Wing Pinero's play "The Thunderbolt" performed at the Arts Theatre, September 16th 1945. The play was produced by Peter Streuli, and the cast included Mark Dignam as James Mortimore, and Chris Castor as Ann Mortimore. |
