Krishna playing the flute. He stands on a lotus base with a beaded edging. He is naked except for jewellery, posed to play the flute in a style of Orissa between fifteenth and eighteenth centuries. The figure is modelled with a graceful simplicity but with fine details and considerable sculptural quality from all angles.
