Physical description

Round coronet of pale green paper-bound wire, covered with 'roses' of pink and white synthetic fabric with white stamen centres, with green satin leaves stiffened with wire down the centre.

Object history note

The headdress is for a Sylph in Mikhail Fokine's ballet "Les Sylphides" and was worn by Margot Fonteyn, probably in the 1960s.
