Content description | Portrait, whole-length, of an officer standing, left profile, pointing to the right and giving orders to another officer who stands holding a hat in his left hand. The scene takes place on a bastion in the middle of a siege. Soldiers are gathered about the scene firing cannons at the besiegers. The masts of ships can be seen beyond the ramparts. |
